Hmm... first thought was a spaceship... then I realized there's a "left side" still to go. It also looks sort-of-like a gallows but I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be including one of those in your children's department! ;)
Good guess liz! This is 1 of the 3 legs for the rocket! Crazy big! I can easily clear it without ducking. I can't wait to post pics of the completed project.
