This post is for those of you who frown upon my tradition of having a pretty, themed tree each year. This is for those of you who say I am not sentimental, and don't care about my old traditional ornaments. Well this year I have decided to appease that group of people. I, my friends, have made a "Sentimental Tree". Yes... it is in the guest bedroom, but at least it is in my house. The tree is complete with a tree skirt made by Granny Turner, our first Christmas ornamant as tree topper, my "babies first christmas" ornament, homemade ornaments, and even an ornament made in brownies.
See people, I do care about traditions and I do have some ornaments that have sentimental value :)

Love your trees... Geoffrey and I just put ours up too. Watch out with those "yummy" looking ornaments and Rage... Bella attacked Geoffrey's Ernie it's shreaded. Part of his candy cane ornament, too!!
I just want to know why you got the little mouse countdown thing which I asked mom for before I moved out of her house AND the tree skirt. And Ashleigh has the snowman card holder. I'm really hurt. I have nothing. In fact, I bought a countdown today at Lifeway. How sad is that? I really think those types of things should be distributed evenly.
I definitely agree with Emily! YOU got the TREE SKIRT?????? That should be a revolving shared item among the Wilson girls. I've got dibs on it next year. :)
Liz, I'm not sure if you realize this but you're going to be in another country next year and unless you want to ship it back for about $50, I don't think you're gonna get it.
Why don't ya'll just make your own tree skirts? I think I have a couple of things from Grannie Turner but my Snowman hanger says Vida Tomlinson on the back and I got it from Grannie when I decided to do snowmen one year in FL.
Em, I don't have mom's countdown... i bought my own last year at JCPenney's.
